Which is better? Which do you need? Does it really matter? This quick explanation may shine a light on a really annoying hole in your budget…
We interviewed one of our lovely, local customers just before Christmas… Here’s what CG Professional had to say:
We all try to be kind to the Earth but sometimes things get in the way… Being at work can damage your carbon footprint, especially if there are no policies in place.
Printer consumables may not be the first item on your new business agenda, but if you run out, you will instantly realise how important they are to the efficiency of your business. It is therefore crucial that you use a quality, reliable, cost effective supplier…
So your printer has packed up right when you needed it most. Now you need to buy a new printer but there are so many printers out there and none of them show you just how much they will cost to run.
So I am writing this realising that we have just entered June and appear to be half way through 2016 without blinking.
We (that is a massive royal ‘we’ I must add!) promise that we will be bringing more up to date content throughout the coming months and not leaving it so long between posts!
2016 has so far seen us and our team of amazingly crazy friends take on the Royal Marines designed Born Survivor event in the Lake District. If you have had chance to read our previous blog post you will know we did this for two amazing charities in Galloway’s Society for the Blind & Kidney Research UK.
We raised a grand total of £2742.50 which we are ridiculously proud of! The day was tough, and in brutal cold conditions we all made it through and really pulled together as a team. This is the second event we have entered on behalf of Galloway’s and I cant wait for their next task. If you have any thoughts for challenges tweet us using the hashtag #ChallengeGemInks we look forward to hearing your ideas!
We met some great people at this event, putting faces to existing customers names and meeting a few new ones along the way.
If you are a Lancashire business person and want to speak to someone who knows all about networking then Rachel is that person!
2016 has been a challenging yet exciting time, we have had highs and lows and negotiated them as best we could. The one thing I do believe in is that hard work and dedication will bring results. I am really looking forward to each day and its possibilities.
January 2016 – Why do fools fall in mud?
2016 is now well underway, fresh, bright…and wet and windy! It hasn’t put us off from our training for the next #ChallengeGeminks, which has seen us running and walking through plenty of muddy puddles. We are tackling the Born Survivor 10k Obstacle Course Race at Lowther Castle, Cumbria in April so there is plenty of training to be done!
In honour of the original GEM from where we took our name, David’s daughter Grace Emily Marie, and her favourite toy, the team name is ‘The Teddy-Bear Grylls’, hopefully we can also live up to the name of a true born survivor!
We are being joined this year by a few friends and family eager to prove their military worth, and thrilled to welcome Emma Russ from Galloways Society for the Blind to the team. We supported Galloways last year and raised £500 from the run, and hope beat that figure this year.
In addition we are also supporting Kidney Research UK this time, in respect of their considerable work done and without whom, as well as our wonderful NHS, one of our loyal supporters would not be with us this year. It’s a charity close to the team’s heart as this is the mum of one of our members, Sarah.
and expect us to look like this again!
You can follow our endeavours on Facebook, Twitter and on the website blog pages, and we will always welcome new support and helpful comments on training – use our hashtag #ChallengeGeminks – or why not take up the challenge yourself? Only 12 weeks to go til the big day…..
